WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE - PETER ABBOTT UR Centre's current president will relinquish part of his current role and shortly take over the presidency at Belgian Div 3B club RACS Couillet although a merger is not on the cards. Due to the changes, Div 3 club RASC Couillet have made a request to the Belgian FA that they be allowed to move their home games from Neuville (sharing with Olympic Charleroi) to La Louviere's Tivoli ground (sharing, not a merger !). As it happens, there is no confirmation yet whether Neuville has been given the go ahead to stage matches next season due to concerns over fire safety. Couillet's youth team will continue to play at Fiestaux where many of us saw the club's first team play before they moved up to Div 3 forcing the move to Charleroi. The outgoing Couillet president had recently enquired about merging with Heppignies Lambusart Fleurus, but this was rejected - imagine another club added to that mouthful ! WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE - MARK WYVER One other team who have been elected into the Kent County League are Hawkhurst United who have moved from the East Sussex League and wil play in Division 2 West. Old Roan also resigned from the league. WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE - MARK WYVER Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers will be playing Rusthall in a Pre Season friendly on July 7th. The ground in New Hythe Lane Larkfield is fully railed with a clubhouse. TUESDAY 19 JUNE - MARK WYVER Kent County League club Stansfeld O&B Club have been relegated from the Premier Division to Division One West for 2007-2008 season due to a poor disciplinary record. TUESDAY 19 JUNE - PETER ABBOTT La Louviere have a new President. Laurent Della, 38 years civil servant with the ministry for the Economic affairs will build a team with a budget of 450.000 euros and he will, apparently, ensure that all debts in future will be fully audited - about time ! Hence, there's no change in the composition of Div 3 and Rupel Boom will not be promoted from Div 4. The FA blamed both Meux and HLF for various indiscretions at their hearing and decided that their play-off result will stand, hence Meux can take their place in Div 4 unless HLF appeal. TUESDAY 19 JUNE - MARK WYVER Coney Hall have moved from the Combined Counties League into the British Energy Kent County League. Newly promoted Tyler Hill who will play in the Premier Division for the first time will have a fully railed ground at Hersden and will be issuing a programme.
